Duxbury's Green Dragons Coach Signs Extension Through 2028

Duxbury High School head football coach Dave Mucci has signed a contract extension through the 2028 season, the school announced Thursday. Mucci has led the Green Dragons to back-to-back playoff appearances, including a 2024 postseason run that ended in a quarterfinal loss to Hingham. Duxbury, a Division III program, boasts a 22-8 record over the past two seasons. The extension is seen as a vote of confidence in Mucci's ability to sustain the program's recent success. With a strong recruiting class on the horizon, the Green Dragons are poised to remain a force in the Patriot League. The extension also gives Mucci more time to build on the momentum he's established in Duxbury.
