DeShawn Wilson Commits to Kansas State
Quince Orchard Cougars safety DeShawn Wilson has committed to Kansas State University, the school announced Thursday. Wilson, a Class of 2026 prospect, chose the Wildcats over other Power Five suitors. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back is expected to fill a need at free safety in Kansas State's 3-4 base defense. With the departure of starting free safety, Wilson is projected to enter the two-deep as a true freshman. Academically, Wilson will be part of a prestigious engineering program at Kansas State. Wilson had previously committed to Maryland but reopened his recruitment in April. He is considered one of the top safeties in the Class of 2026, with a 4.5-star rating and a No. 13 overall ranking in the MPSSAA. Wilson is expected to enroll at Kansas State in the fall of 2026.
