Texas Offers 2027 DE Tyler Martin of Good Counsel Falcons
The University of Texas has extended a scholarship offer to Tyler Martin, a rising defensive end from Good Counsel High School in Montgomery County, Maryland. Martin, a Class of 2027 prospect, has reportedly drawn interest from multiple Power Five programs. He stands 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 235 pounds, with a 4.8 40-yard dash time. Martin has already received offers from Boston College, Duke, and Penn State. As a junior, he recorded 45 tackles, 12 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles for the Falcons. Good Counsel competes in the highly competitive WCAC conference. Martin is expected to attend the upcoming Maryland Football Camp in August, where he will be evaluated by college coaches.
