According to sources, rising sophomore quarterback Emma Jenkins has caught the eye of University of Nebraska coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, who are building the Cornhuskers' inaugural 2028 flag football team. Additionally, NAIA programs Ottawa University, Kansas, Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, have also expressed interest in Jenkins. While UT Arlington is developing its program, it has not yet offered scholarships.
