St. Frances Academy Panthers Flag Football Recruits Target Verified Scholarship Programs
As MPSSAA's flag football pilot district expansion creates new pathways for Texas athletes, the St. Frances Academy Panthers are focusing on verified scholarship programs. Panthers' coaches are advising recruits to target NCAA D1 University of Nebraska, which will launch its inaugural 2028 season with coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Nebraska's Power 4 status and Big Ten affiliation make it an attractive option. Additionally, NAIA programs Ottawa University, Kansas, Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, offer up to 12 scholarships and are actively recruiting. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA D1 program, is also on the radar. Recruits can visit the University of Nebraska's website to learn more about their flag football program and scholarship opportunities.
