DeMatha Catholic Stags Girls Flag Football Players Eye Scholarship Opportunities
As the MPSSAA flag football pilot program expands to new districts, DeMatha Catholic Stags players are taking notice of the emerging scholarship pathways in the sport. The University of Nebraska, set to launch its inaugural 2028 season, has announced a Power 4 program under the guidance of coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse, offers up to 12 NAIA scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also actively recruiting for their NAIA programs. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA D1 program, is expected to offer scholarships in the near future.
