Austin Jackson Commits to TCU Horned Frogs
Cheverus Stags tight end Austin Jackson, a member of the Class of 2026, has committed to the TCU Horned Frogs. Jackson, a standout in the Northeast, chose TCU due to the program's strong emphasis on the tight end position. The Horned Frogs' offense, which features a pro-style scheme, is expected to create opportunities for Jackson to contribute immediately. Additionally, TCU's depth chart at tight end appears to be open, giving Jackson a chance to earn significant playing time. The university's strong academic program and reputation for producing well-rounded graduates were also factors in Jackson's decision. Jackson had previously committed to the University of Maine, but reopened his recruitment in April. He chose TCU over other Division I offers from the likes of the University of New Hampshire and the University of Rhode Island.
