The Class of 2025 standout chose the Red Raiders over other Power Five offers, citing a desire to play in a 3-4 defensive scheme that suits his skills. Taylor, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound athlete, will bring depth to the Red Raiders' linebacker corps. He also praised Texas Tech's academic program, saying it aligns with his goals of pursuing a degree in business. Taylor previously held offers from Boston College and UConn, but ultimately chose Texas Tech for its strong football tradition and coaching staff.
