Leavitt CB Isaiah Allen Commits to SMU
Isaiah Allen, a Class of 2027 cornerback from Leavitt High School in Maine, has committed to play football at Southern Methodist University. Allen, a standout defender in the Pine Tree Conference, chose SMU due to its athletic fit within the Mustangs' defensive scheme, which aligns with his aggressive playing style. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound athlete also cited the opportunity to contribute immediately on special teams and potentially earn a starting role in the secondary. Additionally, Allen was drawn to SMU's strong academic programs, including its Lyle School of Engineering. Allen previously held offers from the University of Maine and Boston College, but SMU's overall package made it the best fit. Allen's commitment marks the first from Leavitt High School to SMU in recent memory.
