Devon Thomas Commits to Air Force
Leavitt Hornets cornerback Devon Thomas has committed to play for the Air Force Falcons, the school announced Friday. Thomas, a Class of 2025 standout, chose the Falcons for their unique blend of athletic and academic opportunities. The Air Force's defensive scheme, which emphasizes speed and agility, is a good fit for Thomas' skills, and he's expected to compete for a starting spot immediately. Additionally, Thomas is drawn to the Falcons' rigorous academic program, which aligns with his own academic goals. Thomas had previously committed to the University of Maine but decommitted in April to explore other options. He attended Air Force's summer camp in June and developed a strong connection with the coaching staff. Thomas is the first Leavitt player to commit to Air Force in recent memory.
