Cade Wilson Commits to UTSA for 2027 Season
Yarmouth, ME - Yarmouth Clippers quarterback Cade Wilson has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) for the 2027 season. Wilson, a Class of 2026 prospect, made the decision after a thorough evaluation of his options. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound signal-caller believes UTSA's Air Raid offense aligns with his skillset, allowing him to thrive in a system that emphasizes quick decision-making and precision passing. Wilson also cited the Roadrunners' need for a backup quarterback, citing an opportunity to contribute immediately. Additionally, UTSA's strong academic program and reputation for producing well-rounded student-athletes were key factors in his decision. Wilson had previously committed to the University of Maine, but reopened his recruitment in April. He is expected to enroll at UTSA in January 2027 and participate in spring practice.
