Hunter Brown Commits to Texas Tech
Davison Cardinals quarterback Hunter Brown has committed to Texas Tech University. Brown, a Class of 2026 prospect, chose the Red Raiders over other Division I offers. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound signal-caller will join a Texas Tech program that is transitioning to a pro-style offense, a scheme that aligns with Brown's skills. He will have an opportunity to compete for the starting job immediately, as the Red Raiders are looking to replace departing quarterback Tyler Shough. Brown was also drawn to Texas Tech's academic programs, particularly the university's renowned engineering school. Brown previously held offers from Michigan State and Western Michigan, but ultimately decided to commit to the Red Raiders. He will enroll at Texas Tech in the fall of 2027 and participate in the team's summer camp program.
