Elijah Williams: The Academic All-Star Receiver
Traverse City Central's Elijah Williams rewrote the record books last season, hauling in 11 touchdown receptions as a junior. The Class of 2025 wide receiver's impressive on-field production has earned him a spot on the MHSAA's All-State team. But what's equally impressive is Williams' academic prowess. He maintains a 4.0 GPA, balancing varsity starter duties with rigorous coursework. As a standout student-athlete, Williams has caught the attention of college scouts. He's being courted by several Division I programs, including Michigan State and Central Michigan. This summer, Williams is attending a week-long football camp at the University of Michigan, where he'll refine his skills alongside top recruits from across the state. Scouts are watching to see how Williams adapts to the increased competition and whether he can continue to excel in the classroom and on the field.
