Caleb Jackson: Crusader Safety Makes Strong Recovery
Detroit King Crusaders safety Caleb Jackson, a Class of 2027 prospect, finished last season with 65 tackles, including 12 for loss. Despite missing significant time due to a torn ACL, Jackson worked tirelessly to regain his form, and his efforts paid off as he earned a starting role heading into the 2026 season. As a Division 2 program, the Crusaders face stiff competition in the MHSAA, but Jackson's return to the field is a welcome boost. With his ability to read the game and make plays in the secondary, Jackson is a key component of the Crusaders' defense. This summer, Jackson has been participating in the team's strength and conditioning program, honing his skills and rebuilding his endurance. Scouts are watching to see how Jackson adapts to the increased tempo and physicality of the upcoming season, as well as his ability to maintain a high level of production over the course of a full campaign.
