Muskegon Big Reds flag football players have a unique opportunity to showcase their skills this summer. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are hosting camps for top prospects. Both NAIA programs have been actively recruiting talented flag athletes. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse with up to 12 scholarships available, will host its camp in late July. Keiser University, with its active recruiting efforts, will host its camp in early August. Local flag players interested in attending should contact their coaches for more information and registration details. This is a chance to gain valuable experience and potentially secure a scholarship opportunity for the 2028 season. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska will be watching closely, as they prepare for their inaugural NCAA D1 season.
