Marcus Anderson Commits to Kansas State
Elk River Elks defensive end Marcus Anderson, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound Class of 2026 prospect, has committed to Kansas State University. Anderson, who initially committed to the Wildcats in February 2024, decommitted in May 2025 before reaffirming his pledge. The 6A Elks standout is expected to bring athleticism and length to the Wildcats' defense, which operates primarily out of a 3-4 scheme. Kansas State's defensive line coach, Chris Dawson, has a history of developing pass rushers, and Anderson's skillset is a good fit for the program. The Wildcats' depth chart at defensive end is expected to be competitive, but Anderson's talent and versatility should give him an opportunity to contribute early. Academically, Kansas State offers a strong program with a reputation for producing well-rounded graduates, which aligns with Anderson's academic goals.
