Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders running backs, get ready to take your game to the next level with this intense 3-step drill. Set up 3 cones in a zig-zag pattern, 5 yards apart. Start at the first cone, then quickly change direction to the second cone, and finally cut back to the third cone. Perform 3 sets of 10 reps, resting for 30 seconds between sets. As you run through the drill, focus on explosive acceleration out of the first cone, sharp cuts at the second cone, and powerful drive at the third cone. Coach's cue: 'Quick feet, sharp cuts, and finish strong.' This drill translates to game performance by improving your RBs' ability to quickly change direction, break tackles, and make big plays in space.
