Notre Dame Offers Rising Star Austin Johnson, CB, Lakeville North Panthers
The University of Notre Dame has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2025 cornerback Austin Johnson of Lakeville North Panthers in 6A. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Johnson boasts a 4.5-second 40-yard dash time and has recorded 10 interceptions over the past two seasons. Prior to the Notre Dame offer, Johnson held scholarship offers from the University of Minnesota and Iowa State University. Johnson's impressive performance has also garnered attention from other top programs, including the University of Wisconsin and the University of Nebraska. As the recruiting calendar heats up, Johnson is expected to attend several camps and showcases this summer, including the Rivals Camp Series and the Nike Opening. He plans to announce his college decision in late August, following the start of his senior season.
