Ohio State Offers 6A Kicker Caleb Johnson of Elk River Elks

Ohio State has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2027 kicker Caleb Johnson of the Elk River Elks. Johnson, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound specialist, has a strong leg, boasting a 50-yard field goal range and a 4.5-second 20-yard dash time. He has also recorded a 35-yard hang time on kickoffs. Johnson has already received offers from Minnesota and Wisconsin, and is considered one of the top kicking prospects in the state. The Elk River Elks' kicker is expected to attend summer camps at both Ohio State and Minnesota, with a decision on his college commitment likely to come in the spring of 2027. Johnson will also participate in the MSHSL's annual Kicking Camp in August, where he will be evaluated by college coaches and scouts.
