Texas Offers Wayzata's Jordan Davis, Top CB Prospect
The University of Texas has extended a scholarship offer to Jordan Davis, a Class of 2026 cornerback from Wayzata High School. Davis, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back, has been one of the top prospects in the state of Minnesota, with a 4.5-second 40-yard dash time and 36-inch vertical leap. He has also received offers from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Minnesota. As a sophomore, Davis recorded 24 tackles and two interceptions, helping the Wayzata Trojans advance to the state playoffs. The Trojans are expected to be a top contender in the 6A classification this season. Davis is expected to attend several summer camps, including the University of Texas's annual camp in July, before making a decision on his college plans. He has stated that he will announce his commitment in the fall of 2026.
