Elijah Thompson Commits to Kansas State
Christian Brothers College Cadets safety Elijah Thompson has committed to Kansas State University. The Class of 2027 standout chose the Wildcats over offers from Missouri and Iowa State. Thompson cited Kansas State's defensive scheme, which aligns with his skills as a ball-hawking safety, as a key factor in his decision. He also noted the opportunity to contribute immediately, as the Wildcats' secondary is expected to undergo significant changes this season. Additionally, Thompson expressed interest in Kansas State's academic program, which is highly regarded for its business and engineering departments. Thompson had previously committed to Missouri but decommitted in April, citing a desire to re-evaluate his options. He plans to enroll at Kansas State in the summer of 2027 and participate in the team's summer camp.
