Tyler Smith Commits to Kansas State Wildcats
Christian Brothers College Cadets running back Tyler Smith, a Class of 2027 prospect, has committed to the Kansas State University Wildcats. Smith, a 5-star recruit, chose the Big 12 program over other top offers. The 5-star prospect cited Kansas State's pro-style offense, which aligns with his skillset, as a major factor in his decision. Additionally, Smith expressed excitement about the opportunity to compete for playing time in the Wildcats' backfield, which features a mix of veteran and incoming talent. Smith also praised Kansas State's academic program, which he believes will provide him with a strong foundation for future success. Smith previously held commitments to both Missouri and Oklahoma State, but decommitted from both programs earlier this summer. He is expected to enroll at Kansas State in January 2027 and participate in spring practice.
