Malik Young Commits to Air Force
Malik Young, a 5-star wide receiver from the Class of 2026, has committed to play for Air Force. Young, who currently plays for De Smet Spartans, will join the Falcons' program in the fall of 2027. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound prospect chose Air Force due to its strong fit with his athletic abilities. The Falcons' triple-option offense aligns with Young's skills, and he expects to contribute immediately as a freshman. Air Force's academic program also appealed to Young, who plans to major in business administration. This marks Young's first commitment, having previously been unattached. De Smet Spartans coach, Ryan Nielson, praised Young's decision, citing his dedication to the team and his growth over the past year. Young's commitment is a significant addition to the Falcons' 2027 recruiting class.
