Bryce Harris: From Setback to Starter

๐Ÿ“ De Smet SpartansยทMonday, July 27, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

At 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, De Smet Spartans tight end Bryce Harris has been a force to be reckoned with on the field, hauling in 22 receptions for 312 yards in his junior campaign. But what's even more impressive is the journey he took to get there. Harris suffered a season-ending ACL injury in the spring of his sophomore year, forcing him to watch from the sidelines as his teammates battled for a state title. Undeterred, Harris spent the offseason rehabbing and recommitting himself to the sport. Now, as a rising senior, he's earned a starting role and is expected to be a key contributor for the Spartans in Class 5. With his size, speed, and sure hands, Harris is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. Scouts are watching to see how he adapts to the increased workload and whether he can maintain his production throughout the season.
