Starkville Yellow Jackets Girls Flag Football Players Target Verified Scholarship Programs
As the state athletic association flag football pilot district expansion creates new opportunities for Texas athletes, the Starkville Yellow Jackets are positioning themselves for success. With the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season on the horizon, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, the Power 4 school is offering a limited number of scholarships. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse, is offering up to 12 NAIA scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also active recruiters. Meanwhile, UT Arlington is developing its NCAA D1 program, paving the way for future scholarship opportunities. Yellow Jackets players can take concrete steps by researching these programs, attending summer camps, and building relationships with coaches.
