Jalen Young Commits to Kansas State
Madison Central Jaguars lineman Jalen Young has committed to Kansas State University. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Class of 2026 offensive lineman chose the Wildcats over other Power Five offers. Young's commitment comes after a strong showing at the school's summer camp, where he impressed coaches with his athleticism and technique. Kansas State's 3-4 scheme is a good fit for Young's skillset, and he is expected to compete for a starting spot on the line. The Wildcats' academic program also aligns with Young's goals, as he aims to major in business administration. Young had previously committed to another program, but decommitted in May to explore other options. He is considered one of the top linemen in the state of Mississippi for the Class of 2026.
