Carson Allen Commits to Baylor
Madison Central Jaguars tight end Carson Allen has committed to Baylor University. The Class of 2026 standout will join the Bears' program in the fall of 2027. Allen, a 6-foot-4, 235-pound prospect, chose Baylor for its strong tight end tradition and the opportunity to contribute immediately. The Bears' pro-style offense, which emphasizes a strong running game and play-action passing, aligns with Allen's skills and playing style. With the departure of several tight ends from the 2025 roster, Allen sees a clear path to playing time in Waco. Baylor's academic program, which offers a strong business and engineering curriculum, also factored into Allen's decision. He had previously committed to Ole Miss but reopened his recruitment in May, allowing him to explore other options. Allen's commitment to Baylor is a significant addition to the Bears' 2027 recruiting class.
