The Missoula Sentinel Spartans flag program is on the rise, and local prospects are taking note of verified scholarship pathways. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are two NAIA powerhouses actively recruiting top talent. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska will lead the Big Ten's inaugural flag program in 2028. For now, Missoula area flag athletes can take advantage of summer camps at Ottawa University and Keiser University. These camps provide a firsthand look at the coaching staff, training methods and team culture. Prospective student-athletes can register for the Ottawa University camp by visiting their website and searching for 'flag football camp.' Keiser University's camp registration is available on their website under 'flag football summer camp.' Midland University in Nebraska is also an active recruiter, but their camp details have not been released yet.
