Trevon Jackson Commits to Navy
Missoula Sentinel Spartans offensive lineman Trevon Jackson has committed to the United States Naval Academy. Jackson, a Class of 2027 prospect, chose Navy over other Division I programs. The Spartans' tackle is expected to fit seamlessly into the Midshipmen's triple-option offense, which should allow him to showcase his skills in a familiar system. Jackson's commitment comes after a strong showing at Navy's summer camp, where he impressed coaches with his agility and footwork. The Spartans' depth chart at left tackle is currently up for grabs, and Jackson's decision to commit to Navy indicates he is eager to contribute immediately. The Naval Academy's rigorous academic program and esteemed engineering curriculum were also major factors in Jackson's decision. He will be joining a program that has produced several NFL linemen in recent years.
