Carson Brown Commits to Houston
Billings Senior Broncs quarterback Carson Brown has committed to the University of Houston for the Class of 2026. Brown, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound signal-caller, chose the Cougars over offers from several other Power Five programs. The Broncs' quarterback led his team to a 10-2 record in 2023, throwing for 2,500 yards and 25 touchdowns. Brown's athleticism and arm strength make him a natural fit for Houston's pass-happy offense. He will have the opportunity to compete for a starting role immediately, as the Cougars return only one scholarship quarterback from last season. Brown was previously committed to Washington State but decommitted in March after visiting several other campuses. He cited Houston's strong academic program and commitment to player development as key factors in his decision. Brown is expected to enroll at Houston in the summer of 2027 and participate in fall camp.
