Grimsley High School's flag football team is gearing up for a strong season, and local prospects are already looking ahead to their collegiate futures. Two NAIA programs, Ottawa University, Kansas and Keiser University, Florida, are offering camp visit opportunities for top performers. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse in flag football, is offering up to 12 scholarships. Keiser University, a active recruiter, is also on the hunt for talented flag athletes. For Grimsley Whirlies prospects, attending one of these camps could be a crucial step in securing a scholarship. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the University of Nebraska are also recruiting top talent for their inaugural 2028 season. Local athletes can take concrete action by registering for an Ottawa University or Keiser University camp to showcase their skills and get noticed by college coaches.
