Ottawa University, Keiser University Offer Camp Visits for Local Flag Prospects
The Mallard Creek Mavericks, a 4A powerhouse in Charlotte, are gearing up for the inaugural 2028 season of girls flag football at the University of Nebraska. As local prospects begin to make their mark, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are extending invitations for camp visits to eligible student-athletes. Ottawa University, a national powerhouse with up to 12 NAIA scholarships, is hosting a camp in late July, while Keiser University, an active recruiter, will conduct a clinic in early August. Both institutions are verified scholarship programs, offering concrete pathways for local flag prospects to take the next step in their athletic careers. Interested athletes should contact the Mavericks coaching staff for more information on how to secure a spot at these camps.
