Texas Offers 2027 CB Bryce Walker

The University of Texas has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2027 cornerback Bryce Walker of the Weddington Warriors (3A). Walker, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound defensive back, recorded 45 tackles, six interceptions and two forced fumbles as a sophomore. He also participated in the 2025 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. Walker has also received offers from Appalachian State, East Carolina and South Carolina State. The rising junior is expected to attend several camps this summer, including the University of Texas' Elite Camp and the NCHSAA's annual Football Combine. Walker's recruiting timeline is expected to heat up in the coming months, with a decision potentially coming in the fall of 2026.
