Mallard Creek CB Jordan Martin Commits to Kansas State
Jordan Martin, a 4A cornerback from Mallard Creek High School, has committed to Kansas State University, the school announced. Martin, a Class of 2025 prospect, chose the Wildcats over other Power Five offers. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound defender is expected to fit into Kansas State's aggressive 3-3-5 scheme, which prioritizes speed and athleticism at the cornerback position. Martin's commitment fills a need at the position, where the Wildcats are looking to rebuild their depth chart. Kansas State's academic program, which offers a strong engineering curriculum, also appealed to Martin, who is a top student-athlete. Martin had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment after reevaluating his options. He is expected to enroll at Kansas State in the fall of 2025 and compete immediately for a starting spot.
