The University of Florida has extended an offer to Trevon Taylor, a 2027 offensive lineman from Grimsley High School's Whirlies. Taylor, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound lineman, has been turning heads with his impressive performance in summer camps and showcases. He recorded a 7.5-second 3-cone drill and a 4.8-second 20-yard shuttle at a recent camp, drawing attention from college scouts. The Whirlies' standout has also held offers from Appalachian State and East Carolina. Taylor's recruitment is expected to heat up in the coming months, with several Power Five programs already expressing interest. The Grimsley senior will look to continue his development at upcoming camps and combine events, with a decision potentially coming as early as the fall.
