Texas Offers Myers Park Kicker Austin Williams

The University of Texas has extended a scholarship offer to Myers Park Mustangs kicker Austin Williams, a Class of 2026 standout. Williams, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 180 pounds, has been clocked at a 4.7-second 40-yard dash. In his junior season, he connected on 15 of 20 field goal attempts and made 30 of 32 extra points. Williams has also been offered by Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina. A highly touted recruit, Williams is expected to attend several camps this summer, including the NCHSAA's annual Football Camp in June. He is also planning to participate in the Nike Football Training Camp in July. Williams is expected to make a decision on his college commitment by the end of the summer.
