Trevon Robinson: Bouncing Back from Adversity
Shelby Golden Lions wide receiver Trevon Robinson made a statement in the spring with a 4.38 40-yard dash at the NCHSAA's annual Combine event. The Class of 2025 standout's speed and agility have always been notable, but what's even more impressive is his perseverance after a torn ACL in his freshman season. Now, with a year of rehab under his belt, Robinson is poised to take on a starting role for the Golden Lions. As a 3A team, Shelby's schedule will be challenging, but Robinson's determination and work ethic have earned him the trust of his coaches. With his quick release and sure hands, Robinson is a threat to make big plays down the field. Scouts are watching to see how he adapts to game speed and if he can maintain his production over the course of a full season.
