Noah Williams Commits to Army Football
Myers Park senior safety Noah Williams has committed to play football at the U.S. Military Academy, Army announced Thursday. Williams, a 4A standout and member of the Class of 2026, chose the Black Knights over other Division I offers. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound safety is expected to contribute immediately to Army's defensive backfield, which operates primarily out of a 4-3 base scheme. Williams' athletic ability and versatility make him a strong fit for the Black Knights' system. He will also benefit from Army's strong academic program, which is highly regarded for its engineering and business programs. Williams had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in April, ultimately choosing Army as his top choice. Williams is expected to report to West Point in June 2027, pending his completion of high school requirements.
