Army Lands Commitment from Bismarck Demons QB Jalen Harris
Jalen Harris, a Class of 2025 quarterback from the Bismarck Demons, has committed to play for the Army Black Knights. Harris, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound signal-caller, chose Army over other Division I offers from North Dakota State and South Dakota State. The Demons' quarterback, who threw for 2,500 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior, cited Army's triple-option offense as a key factor in his decision, noting it aligns with his skillset and playing style. Harris also praised the Black Knights' strong academic program, which he believes will prepare him for success beyond his football career. Harris, who initially committed to Army in the spring of 2025, decommitted in the fall of 2025 before recommitting to the program in June. He is expected to enroll at Army in the summer of 2027.
