Patriots' Flag Football Talent Poised for National Opportunities
The NDHSAA's flag football pilot district expansion has created a new landscape for Texas high school athletes seeking college scholarships. Century Patriots' standout flag football players are now within reach of top-tier programs. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is set to launch its inaugural 2028 season with Power 4 status. This development has drawn attention from the likes of Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, both of which offer up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, is also actively recruiting. UT Arlington, in development, is a potential future destination. As the Patriots prepare for the upcoming season, athletes are encouraged to research these programs and reach out to coaches directly to explore verified scholarship pathways. Summer camps and combine events will provide opportunities for athletes to showcase their skills and get noticed by college recruiters.
