Bismarck Demons Flag Football Prospects Eye Nebraska's 2028 Inaugural Season
As the University of Nebraska prepares to launch its inaugural NCAA Division 1 flag football season in 2028, the Bismarck Demons are taking notice. Coached by the Sowers sisters, Liz and Katie, the Cornhuskers are expected to be a powerhouse in the Big Ten. For Bismarck prospects, this means new scholarship opportunities. The University of Nebraska is offering up to 12 full-ride scholarships for flag football players. Meanwhile, Ottawa University, Kansas, is offering up to 12 NAIA scholarships. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also actively recruiting. UT Arlington, though not yet offering scholarships, is developing its program. Demons players looking to capitalize on these opportunities should focus on building their skills and creating highlight tapes showcasing their abilities.
