Isaiah Anderson Commits to Baylor
Mandan Braves safety Isaiah Anderson has committed to Baylor University. The Class of 2025 standout made the decision after considering several top programs. Anderson chose Baylor for its athletic fit, as the Bears run a similar defensive scheme that will allow him to showcase his skills. He will also have the opportunity to compete for a starting role in the secondary. Academically, Anderson was drawn to Baylor's highly-regarded business program. Anderson initially committed to the University of North Dakota in February 2024 but decommitted in May to explore other options. Baylor's strong recruiting class and reputation for developing defensive backs ultimately led to his decision. Anderson is expected to sign with the Bears in the coming weeks. He was a key contributor for the Braves as a sophomore, earning All-State honors and recording 65 tackles and three interceptions.
