Austin Johnson Commits to Army

Kearney, Neb. - Senior offensive lineman Austin Johnson has committed to play football at the United States Military Academy, Army. Johnson, a Class of 2025 standout for the Kearney Bearcats, chose Army for its strong athletic program and academic reputation. The Black Knights' triple-option offense is a good fit for Johnson's skills, and he's expected to compete for a starting spot on the line. Johnson was also impressed by Army's academic programs, which align with his interests in engineering. This marks the first commitment for the Bearcats in the Class of 2025. Johnson had been recruited by several other schools, but ultimately chose Army for its unique blend of athletics and academics.
