Carson Thompson Commits to Army

Millard South Patriots linebacker Carson Thompson has committed to Army for the class of 2027. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound defender chose the Black Knights for their 3-4 defensive scheme, which will allow him to utilize his pass-rushing skills and athleticism at outside linebacker. Thompson will also have the opportunity to contribute early in his career, given Army's depth chart at the position. The academic program at West Point was another factor in his decision, as Thompson has maintained a strong GPA throughout his high school career. This marks a new commitment for Thompson, who had previously considered several other Division I programs.
