Hunter Allen Commits to Texas Tech
Kearney (B) running back Hunter Allen has committed to Texas Tech, the school announced Thursday. Allen, a Class of 2025 standout, chose the Red Raiders over offers from several other Power Five programs. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound back cited Texas Tech's pro-style offense as a key factor in his decision, noting that it aligns with his playing style. Allen also praised the school's depth chart opportunity, stating that he expects to compete for a starting role immediately. Additionally, he highlighted the university's strong academic program, which he believes will prepare him for life after football. Allen had previously committed to another program but decommitted in April, allowing him to focus on his recruitment. He is expected to enroll at Texas Tech in the fall of 2025 and participate in the Red Raiders' summer camp.
