Nashua South Panthers Promote Assistant to Coordinator Role

๐Ÿ“ Nashua South PanthersยทWednesday, July 1, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Nashua South Panthers head coach John Smith announced the promotion of assistant coach Michael Johnson to offensive coordinator, effective immediately. Johnson, a three-year assistant, has developed key contributors to the Panthers' offense, including quarterback Alex Rodriguez and wide receiver David Lee. The Panthers finished last season with a 5-5 record in Division I and are looking to improve their passing game. Johnson's promotion is seen as a key move to address the Panthers' need for a more dynamic offense. The team will hold its annual summer camp in late July, where Johnson will work with Rodriguez and Lee to develop new plays and strategies. The Panthers will open their season in September against a Division I opponent.
