Bryce Johnson Commits to Texas Tech
Nashua South Panthers defensive end Bryce Johnson has committed to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The Class of 2025 standout made the decision after a thorough evaluation of the program's fit. Johnson cited the Red Raiders' 3-4 scheme as a key factor, noting it aligns with his skills and experience. He also expressed excitement about the opportunity to contribute immediately, given the team's depth chart. Academically, Johnson was drawn to the university's strong engineering program, which will allow him to pursue his interests in mechanical engineering. Johnson had previously considered other Division I programs, including Boston College and Syracuse, but ultimately chose Texas Tech for its athletic and academic opportunities. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Johnson is expected to make an immediate impact on the Red Raiders' defensive line.
