Manchester Central Little Green flag football players have a unique opportunity to join the University of Nebraska's inaugural NCAA Division 1 program in 2028. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers are actively recruiting top talent from across the country. The Cornhuskers' program will offer scholarships to a select group of student-athletes. Manchester Central players who excel in the upcoming season may be considered for the inaugural class. To increase their chances, athletes should focus on developing their skills at summer camps and clinics. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, also offer NAIA flag football scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, is an active recruiter in the region. UT Arlington is developing its NCAA Division 1 program but has not yet announced scholarship offerings.
