Alabama Extends Offer to Exeter Safety Elijah Martin
The University of Alabama has extended a scholarship offer to Exeter Blue Hawks safety Elijah Martin, a rising senior in the Class of 2025. Martin, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back, has drawn attention for his impressive speed, clocked at 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He recorded 70 tackles, 5 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles as a junior. Martin has also received offers from Boston College, Syracuse and UMass. Exeter coach, Tom Darrigo, notes Martin's exceptional ball-hawking skills and ability to read the game. Martin's recruitment is heating up as he prepares for his senior season. With a strong summer camp performance, Martin is expected to attract more top programs. The Blue Hawks will hold their annual summer camp in late July, where Martin will look to solidify his position as one of the top safeties in the state. Martin plans to make official visits to Alabama and other top contenders in the coming months.
