Penn State Extends Offer to Bedford's Darius Williams
Penn State has offered tight end Darius Williams, a rising senior at Bedford High School, a Div I powerhouse in New Hampshire. Williams, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 220 pounds, has been a standout performer on the gridiron, hauling in 23 receptions for 343 yards and 4 touchdowns last season. His impressive play has also caught the attention of other top programs, including Boston College and UMass. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Williams is a versatile player who has shown the ability to line up in both the slot and out wide. With the offer from Penn State, Williams now has a total of four Division I offers. As the recruiting process heats up, Williams is expected to attend several camps and combine events throughout the summer, including the Penn State football camp in late July. He has also been invited to participate in the NHIAA's annual Football Showcase in early August.
